- Account Data: when you create an account, we collect information like your email address, password (stored with industry-standard hashing), username or slug, and any display name you choose.
- Profile Data: details such as your profile picture and short bio.
- Wall Content: the countries, dates, photos, and descriptions you add to your travel wall. You control what appears on your public wall.
- Communication Data: information you provide when you contact us for support, feedback, or other questions.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use Tripstree, certain technical information is collected automatically, such as:
- Browser type, device type, and operating system.
- Activity and error logs (for example, sign-in attempts, crash reports) to keep the platform reliable and secure.
3. Use of Data
We use the information we collect only for clearly defined purposes.
3.1 Service Provision
- Create and manage your Tripstree account.
- Let you build, edit, and display your travel wall at your chosen link.
- Store and serve your photos, country cards, and trip details, subject to your settings.
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
3.2 Service Improvement
- Analyze how the platform is used (in aggregate) to fix bugs, improve performance, and plan new features.
- Protect the platform from abuse, spam, or unauthorized access.
3.3 Communication
- Send you essential emails related to your account, such as security alerts or important updates.
- With your consent, send informational updates about new features or changes to Tripstree (you can unsubscribe at any time).

No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we aim to apply sensible protections for the size and nature of Tripstree.

- Account Data: kept while your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize this information within a reasonable time, unless we need to retain some data for legal or security reasons.
- Wall Content: kept while you maintain it on your wall. When you delete content, it is removed from active use and will disappear from public view, with residual copies possibly remaining in backups for a limited period.

- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
